Applying to FCC

FCC do not directly provide grants and resources to children or families. Where individuals contact FCC they will be asked to contact a community organisation to apply on their behalf.

Only credible organisations can apply to FCC for funding and that funding, if agreed, must be administered by the applying organisation and designated individual applying. We encourage organisations to build a relationship with us over time.

Organisations that can apply include registered charities, community groups, community interest companies, schools, colleges, youth clubs, sports groups and uniformed groups.

Application Form

Meeting the diverse needs of disadvantaged, vulnerable or at risk children and young people within Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas since 2008.

Applications can be submitted at any time, follow a standard process and all grants are considered and decided at the total discretion of the FCC committee. The committee reserve the right to request further information before reaching a decision and the right to ask for receipts for all grant expenditure.

Please note, the committee are volunteers and timescales for decisions are not set. Please make any applications very early if you have a deadline as we cannot guarantee that you will receive a response and or the funds to meet your deadline.

Alternatives to branded logo items.
How branded items are kept to a minimum.
How high street options are acceptable as uniform.
How uniform policy is easily accessible.
How they make sure second hand uniforms are available.

The School Wear Association recommends that a secondary school uniform and sportswear (average cost) is circa £100.
We will not consider funding trainers unless they are for a specific sport activity.

For All School Applicants

We will also require information based on how pupil premium has already been accessed before considering any application.

Any application received without this additional information will not be considered.

Transport

We do not fund school transport costs as this is a statutory responsibility.
